What kinds of employers give hair drug tests?

Police Departments? DEA? FBI?

What kinds of employers give hair drug tests?

It seems hair follicle analysis is becoming a more common practice among employers. Possibly due to the fact that it is easy and convenient to collect some hair and maybe it is becoming more affordable to have a lab test it. It is also very difficult (if not impossible) to beat these tests. I know someone who smoked some weed ONE TIME about 2 months before collection and failed the test. That person also tried the shampoo that is supposed to remove the traces of drug use. I also heard that they don't necessarily test the full length of hair, but go back approx 3-4 months starting at the root (which is roughly 2" of hair). But I am sure that different labs have different practices.

I wonder what results they get if the tested one is a member of the Hair Club!
