Hair testing for cocaine?

OK, So I know all what I read online about hair testing shampoos, and other crap that doe snot works. Only not using drugs, But I did not use! So with that said maybe someone knows... I am 32, I don't do drugs since I was a teen, and 2 weeks ago, a friends was high on cocaine ( I did not know she was) anyway she thought is would be funny to get me too.. So somehow, I ingested it with food or drink or something, not sure閳?However, I was sure I was on it when I felt weird! She is no longer a friend!

Anyway, I had a random hair test 8 days later and I was positive. I tried to explain and of course, the employer does not want to hear it. However, they let me stay on, since I been with the company for a while with good test results. The only thing is I must pass another test next month!

My question is that if I cut off all my hair and they test the new growth, will my second test in a month from now show positive again?

i thought it stays in your hair for years it`s a bit unfair cause if you have a operation on your nose they sometimes but a paste what contains cocaine up your nose so surely you should ask for a blood or wee test to be done instead good luck and i would of shopped your friend to the police that way you can take the police statement and show your employer it was`nt your fault

You have got to be kidding. No cutting your hair off won't work. And retesting a month later won't either, because the hair test shows results for longer than the other types. Putting down the straw might be a step in the right direction. Coke's expensive - people don't slip it to their buddies for kicks.

The second test should not show a positive. I had a friend that told an employer that he did not do drugs, at his interview. He got the job and the first day of work, they took a hair sample. He worked until the company received the results, he tested positive. There was a rash of buzz cuts at the barbershop in this area after hair samples were taken. If you do not do drugs, you should not have a problem for future results.
