urine drug testing is quicker and cheaper, and it will be easier to find a lab that does urine drug testing. however, it would only discover the drug metabolites that are still in the system -- basically marijuana is the longest lasting metabolite, because it is stored in the fat and slowly released.

hair testing is more epensive, but will detect drug use father back - depending upon how long the hair is....

why not collect BOTH? - send the urine in for testing, and keep the hair sample as back-up..

however, you will have to make sure that they are collected according to legal protocols --- check with the local lab(s)/hospital(s) in your area - you can probably send the employee there

you can beat urinalysis with drinks and pills sold in most malls (i did) go with the hair testing... drugs stay in the hair longer (6 months) and the test is more accurate

If so urinanalysis will give you an accurate reading of recent drug use. It will detect most drugs that have been used within the last 4-7 days, and Marijuana use up to thirty days. Hair tests go back alot farther, but unless you have sort of requirement from your insurance company you should have no need to be this invasive into someones personal life. If you are just doing this at random you should be ashamed of yourself, unless your insurance is making you do it.
