Smoking pot and Hair drug testing????

I smoked pot twice about two months ago, and now I'm being forced to do a hair drug test. Will it show up if I only smoked twice in the three month test coverage?

probably not. your body has metabolized it by now. the thc stays mainly in the fat cells, and it can stay in the body fat for up to 45 days. even if it did show up it wouldnt be enough to render a positive test. there has to be a substantial amount, not a trace, in order to come back as positive. my best friend is a probation officer in tennessee. is this for probation? if so you'd better hope you get lucky. either way if there is a possibility of random drug testing you need to abstain from all drugs completely. hair tests are pretty accurate. they sell 'shampoo' at head shops that you can wash your hair with. apparently they work because i used to know an oxycontin addict who used it and passed. if you're that worried go find some. otherwise stop doing it in the first place. good luck.

The hair drug test goes back a year - I am not sure how much you ingested, but I am sure levels will show up in the test.

Your screwed. If it was a urine test you would be fine after 30 days. But I hear hair tests can date back up to 7 years. That is why Britney Spears shaved her head (according to her) she didn't want to test positive once she got into rehab.

Yes it will show up. It can show up in hair for years that is why lots of companies do that. My husband is a heavy smoker and he knows about that.

Your screwed... Pot stays in your hair indefinitely. Hair grows about 1/4" a month and so depending on how long your hair is, will determine how far they can go back in months to test your hair. 1/2" of hair=2 months (roughly). So if 6 months ago you smoked pot and never had your hair cut and then went in for a hair drug screen, it would show up.
